Dorothy Bowman. Lake Nite. Signed. Born In 1927, Dorothy Bowman Is A Listed Painter And Printmaker, Known For Her Semi-Abstract Compositions. She Studied At The Chouinard Art School Under Rico Lebrun And Jean Charlot. She Also Studied At The Jepson Art Institute And The Otis Art Institute. Married To Painter Howard Bradford, She Lived And Worked In Big Sur, California, And Painted There With Author Henry Miller. Her Works Are In The Collections Of The Los Angeles County Museum, The Boston Museum Of Fine Arts, And The Smithsonian Institution. Her Serigraphs Received Many Awards And Were Exhibited Both Nationally And Internationally.
