Sturdily potted, of cylindrical form, with deep sides rising from a gently tapered ring foot to a slightly raised and incurved rim, covered with an even sea-green glaze continuing over the rim onto the unglazed interior and over the underside, stopping around an unglazed center with an only partially glazed recessed base, the unglazed body with a brown wash.Provenance: From the private collection of Professor Filippo Salviati, Rome, Italy.
