Tibetan-Chinese. The stone of a good quality with natural inclusions, carved as a conch with a distinct four-tiered spire and a massive shell. The conch is considered sacred in Buddhism and is one of the eight auspicious symbols.Provenance: Ex-Collection of The Zelnik Istv??n Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above.
