China, 18th century. Carved standing, the right hand raised in abhayamudra and the left lowered in varadamudra, wearing a long robe falling in voluminous folds and beaded jewelry at the chest, the serene face with a faceted glass urna, heavy-lidded downcast eyes and full lips forming a subtle smile, flanked by long pendulous earlobes, the hair arranged in a high topknot.Provenance: Dutch private collection.Condition: Good condition with some wear, minor touchups, losses, nicks here and there, the hands restored, the cover of the aperture at the back is a replacement. The interior is empty.
