Description A BURMESE CARVED WOOD ZOOMORPHIC POST, with a horizontal stem terminating in a wedge, the figure stands at one end of the stem on short legs, slightly bent at the knee, with a large protruding belly, one hand resting below and the other bent at the elbow, the unusual head with an upward-turned pointed nose and incised ovoid eyes, 35.3cm high. Provenance: Private London collection, acquired prior to 2000.
