Description A POLYCHROME-PAINTED WOODEN LANTERN COVER AND A PAIR OF GILT AND PAINTED WOODEN DOOR LINTELS, 19TH CENTURY, Ottoman Turkey and Provinces, comprising a wooden lantern cover, of hexagonal shape, surmounted by a dome-shaped top flanked by sinuous volute-shaped ribs, the lateral panels pierced and carved with intertwined vegetal scrolls and a pink rosette in the centre, volutes on each corner, with several residues of blue, red and golden paint, 41.5cm high; and two rectangular wooden door lintels, framing a lobed arch, the spandrels decorated with intertwined vegetal trellis and gilt rosettes against a red ground, each approx. 35cm x 84cm.
