Description A Chinese blue and white tulip vase dating from the 19th century and intended for export to the Netherlands. Its form consists of five lobes and one long neck. Each lobe as well as the neck has a black mouth and features lotus tracery with a ruyi band. The body of the vase features the eight Buddhist emblems. It bears a 4-character mark on its base. Dimensions are: 11 inches tall X 7 inches wide, 27.9 cm X 17.8 cm. All measurements are approximate.
