Description A group of Chinese blue and white porcelain dishes including a pair of bowls and one plate. The bowls depict a boating party looking up at a constellation, and the plate depicts a landscape and a man fishing. Each piece bears a 4-character mark on its base and an inscription. Dimensions are: the bowls measure 3 inches tall X 7 inches wide, 7.6 cm X 17.8 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Condition Report The plate is in good condition. One bowl has a hairline to its rim. The other bowl shows abrasions.
Provenance From the estate of a surgeon in the Washington, D.C. area. The items were acquired from various auction houses including Christie's and Sotheby's prior to the 1990s.
