Description A pair of Chinese hexagonal famille rose lamps with porcelain stands dating from the Republic period. Each side of the lamps feature figures in landscape roundels surrounded by green and red patterned decoration. Dimensions are: 13 inches tall X 17 1/2 inches wide, 33 cm X 44.5 cm. Condition Report There is minor chipping to one lamp, and one stand has been repaired. They are in overall good condition.
Provenance Both lamps have Weschler's tags. From the estate of a surgeon in the Washington, D.C. area. The items were acquired from various auction houses including Christie's and Sotheby's prior to the 1990s.
