Description A Chinese turquoise-ground lidded jar dating from the late 19th century. The lid and base of the jar feature famille rose decorations including Shou characters, bats, Buddhist knots, and lotus tracery. It has gold painted beast head handles and a gold guardian lion finial. There is a 6-character mark on the bottom. Dimensions are: 5 inches tall X 6 inches wide, 12.7 cm X 15.2 cm.
