Description A Chinese bronze incense burner inlaid with silver wire dating from the 18th century. The round tripod incense burner has two vertical handles and features dragons chasing flaming pearls among ruyi clouds. There is a 4-character mark on the bottom. Dimensions are: 5 1/2 inches tall X 9 1/2 inches wide, 14 cm X 24.1 cm. Weight: 4850 grams. All measurements are approximate.

Notes A similar bronze censer inlaid with silver wire, but only around the mouth and with prominant handles, sold at Christie's Hong Kong on November 26, 2019, as lot 2818. Additionally, a bronze censer inlaid with silver wire and bearing a Xuande mark was sold at Christie's London on November 8, 2012, as lot 1041.
