Grand Tour Italian 19 C Bronze Pitcher probably cast from an original 1st Century Askos Ewer excavated at Pompeii or Herculaneum, thought to have been a container for Goat Milk with 2 goats at the edge in front of cornucopia, the leafy handle ending in a winged cupid and all covered in a thick verdigris patina. Height 6 3/4 inches (17 cm.) X width 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm.).
