Ben Benn (American/Russian 1884–1983): Double Female Profile in Pen & Ink on Paper with traces of pencil, signed and dated in pencil lower right corner recto, "Ben Benn 1930." Height of art 22 inches (56 cm) X width of art 28 inches (71 cm.). NOTE: The similarity to Man Ray's Solarized Double Profile Portraits of the early 1930's is striking. The two artists had already been exhibited together in 1916 at the Forum Exhibition of Modernism and again at Virginia Zabriskie Gallery's recreation in 1963.
