Buddha figure of Shakyamuni in almighty figure. The Buddha face in serene expression flanked by pendulous earlobes, the shisha topped with a knobs. In a formal posture, with one face and two hands he gazes forward with half closed eyes. The hair on the head is piled in a topknot shisha crowned with an ornament and the earlobes are long and pierced. With the two feet crossed in vajra posture, right over left upon a double lotus throne. All sets upon further solid gold double lotus throne emerging the aura-chakra nimbus and mandoria with elaborate reliefs of scrolling tendrils surrounding the body. Sets upon a multi leveled tall pedestal, auspicious archaic mystical beast surrounded by the rays of nimbus light emanate from the pedestal throne. The solid gold contrast against inlaid with semi-precious stones, of red coral, lapis lazuli and turquoise. The Amazing condition with a natural solid gold giving this piece an unforgettable appearance.
