The Porcelain potted in Zong shape vase, thick and tall, squared body, with five short circle opening mouth and foot base, raised on round shallow foot. Essentially tubes with a square cross-section and a circular hole, having rib molded corners in form of a traditional hair pin along the sides stacked as modules, one atop another. The shape of the Zong with its square and circular shape could be interpreted as 'the unity of heaven and earth' where the square represents the earth and a circle represents the heaven. The exterior decorated with hand-painting in celadon under glazed base color which contrast against the Ge design color. Distinctive GE crackled glaze also known as jinsi tiexian which translates to mean gold floss and iron thread which details the look of several lines that appear in the crackled surface. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned. The glaze is seamless and gives off a beautiful luster, with the colors maintaining excellent vibrancy.
