This deposit will be refunded to the non winning bidders in approx. 7 business days. Winning bidders will have 7 days to make payment in full in order to be released from the verification charge.

A large Chinese vase, delicate potted, shaped vase, wider on shoulder, rounded shoulders converging into a short wide neck, globular body, tapered neck forming into a slightly flared rim, with a slightly concave foot base. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in iron red underglaze base color which contrast against the gilt fine color and Wucai design color. The main body festooned with a dynamic dragons soaring amidst flames, thunderbolt, cumulonimbus cloud and vapors, with face and upper right appendage outstretched toward the heavens, above wavy cresting Lishui water. Vigorous dragons chasing flaming pearl amidst flames against dark grey scrolling clouds diaper. The backdrop depicts swirling wind and fire painted atop a beautiful pale grey underglaze. The shoulder decorated with auspicious pattern and repeating upturning phoenix tails, repeating taotie mask and key fret adorned on the upper mouth rim in Gilt fine color. The foot base rim decorated in square auspicious motif. Dragon is the symbol of the Emperor, the Son of Heaven, eternity, Yang and Yin, male vigor and fecundity, the Li-Shui wave pattern which is known to be the abode of dragons. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned. The Under-base bears reign mark, a vertical six underglaze blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine rings, Made In The Years of Yongzheng Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
