The porcelain shaped into a traditional Meiping form, large, thick and tall potted, wide body on shoulder, slender neck easing to form narrow opening, with emerging slight flaring ring mouth rim, raised on round foot base, with slight concave. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in masterfully covered in an even coat of deep brown glaze which terminates at the base to reveal the pure white under glaze. Meticulous finish detailed in gilt overglazed with variegate archaic floral medallions surround the surface. The foot rim reveals the cut edges during the making process, and the receded central interior base left white under glaze. Gilt or gold is a color of completeness, wealth, metal, God consciousness, richness and nobility. Combinations of gold and red are seen on special occasions and is a winning color combination. The glaze is seamless and gives off a beautiful luster, with the colors maintaining excellent vibrancy. There is not any overlap of the outlines, its well carved, clear, subtle, and distinct. Mark on base, a six under glazed blue seal script characters reign mark, Made In The Years of Qianlong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
