The porcelain potted in garlic bottle vase, bulbous lower belly, thick, with rounded shoulder, long cylindrical neck, with shrink on the neck middle to enlarge onion head shape, with slight short mouth rim, raised on short small round, with slight concaved foot base. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in masterfully covered in an even coat of a soft blue glaze which terminates at the base to reveal the pure white under glaze. The pale blue glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. The foot rim reveals the cut edges during the making process, and the receded central interior base left white under glaze. The glaze is seamless and gives off a beautiful luster, with the colors maintaining excellent vibrancy. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.
