This deposit will be refunded to the non winning bidders in approx. 7 business days. Winning bidders will have 7 days to make payment in full in order to be released from the verification charge.

Dimensions: 3-1/4" H x 5-1/8" WLustrous, Chinese Ming Dynasty Period, Xuande bronze censer. Chinese Bronze censer cast in a slightly compressed globular form, round flat opening mouth rim, potted thick, study body, raised with flat round base rim, shrinker on the central body, upward flaring to the opening mouth rim, emerge two archaic beast flanked on the neck created handles everted from the gathering lip. The exterior carved with huge taotie mask interspersed with auspicious pattern. The upper mouth rim and the foot base rim carved with interlocking Wanzi motif, enclosed and banded with single fine ring lines, all in gilt fine color carved. Century antique Chinese Ming Dynasty bronze censer, cast in compressed globular form, short neck to flat open wide rim, raised on three conical short legs, with two loop handles vertically everted on upper lip. The metal patinated to a warm olive-brown tone and some milky blue-green encrustation on interior. The bronze is bright and lustrous as the light is easily reflected from the well-polished surfaces. The plaques split in the middle section, and fitted perfectly upon each other. There is a light grey patina noted in Mark on under base, a six embossed script characters reign mark, Xuande Reign Period of Great Ming Dynasty.
