Of melon form with vertical ribs, covered in a creamy glaze. Soil remnants adhereing within and around the foot. Together with a later fitted hardwood lid, and an old collection card.

PROVENANCE:
An old Melbourne collection formed by the vendor's father around 1950 to 1970, and thence by descent.

Short hairline crack to the rim. Old wear to the glaze. Soil encrustation surrounding the foot. Old repair to the hardwood lid.
