Description Utagawa Kunisada (JAPANESE, 1786 - 1864) six woodblocks from the "Tale of Genji". Each bearing Tsutaya Juzaburo publisher marks. Please note that one woodblock is by Utagawa Kunisada II (JAPANESE, 1823 - 1880).Woodblocks are double mounted in triptych frames. Frames crafted of gold and black painted wooden frames with black mat behind glass screens. Each woodblock measures approx. 13 1/2" height x 10" width (34.3cm x25.4cm) to sight. Each individual frame measures approx. 37 1/4" height x 16 5/8" width (95.3cm x 42.2cm) overall including mounting hardware.
