comprising;?a silver capstan inkwell, A & J Zimmerman, Birmingham, 1918, engraved with a?coronet surmounting the initials 'H.B', a?silver cigar box, London, 1918, engraved with the crests for?Hugessen and Knatchbull and 'M.K-H', a?silver box with playing cards, the lid engraved?'H.K.H' / Patience , May 8th 1898', London, 1897, a silver engine turned and ebonised wood desk calendar, Birmingham, 1913 a larger, electroplate example,?circa 1920, a silver bookmark engraved 'Agatha / 9 May 11', inset with a silver florin for 1848, London, 1910, and a papered-wooden page-turner for 'The Eastern Telegraph Company, Ltd.' dated 1886

Condition Report An interesting group. Wood page turner 33cm. Tired and stained - as to be expected from use. Cigar box, typical marks, scratches and wear from use. Card box 4 by 8 by 6cm. wear and marks from use. Silver now loose from leather holder. Playing cards not checked or counted. Some with mold and stuck. Tired. Silver bookmark, old marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Calendar 11 by 17 by 5cm. Country house condition, winding mechanism not checked. Silver with prangs and ingrained dirt. Larger calendar 14 by 21 by 5cm. with prangs, plated surface tarnished, screw loose, winding mechanism not checked.
