Description A pair of George III style ebony strung and mahogany demi-lune vitrine?cabinets
circa 1900
the hinged glazed tops over a pair of doors, on square tapering legs with spade feet
79cm. high, 61cm. wide, 31cm. deep
Condition Report Generally in good condition. One with 1.5 cm loss to crossbanded veneer of top. Other with minor chipping to cross banding of veneer, some filler to frieze and lacking brass escutcheon to lock. The doors of both with very slight warping which does not detract. Probably acquired to match the 18th century furniture at Mersham le Hatch in the early 1900s.
