Provenance Helena Regina Frederica von Brunningen, Lady Brabourne (1860-1919) married?Cecil Knatchbull-Hugessen, 4th Baron Brabourne (1863-1933) in 1893, it is possible that the present lot was a wedding gift.
Austrian born Helena's father was Johann Hermann Flech von Brunningen (1825-1891), an Imperial Councillor. He was a member?of the House?of Deputies' in Vienna.
