Condition Report The hot water jug with a dent to the base, now a bit wobbly on a flat surface, the cream jug also with a small dent, hinge pin of hot milk jug protruding slightly, otherwise normal scratches commensurate with age but general condition excellent with good clear marks.

Notes John Ulick Knatchbull, 7th Baron Brabourne and Patricia Edwina Victoria, daughter of Louis Mountbatten, 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma and his wife, Edwina, Countess Mountbatten were married on 26 October 1946 at Romsey Abbey, Hampshire. Besides relatives and friends of the bride and groom, the guests included the King, in naval uniform, and Queen, in a pale grey outfit with hat to match and platinum fox furs. The bridesmaids were the Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret, Princess Alexandra of Kent and the bride's younger sister, the Hon. Pamela Mountbatten. Geoffrey Fisher, Archbishop of Canterbury took the service.

Mummy/Dodo = (Mother of 'John'). Doreen Geraldine Browne, who in 1919 married Michael Herbert Rudolf Knatchbull, 5th Baron Brabourne.
Dickie/Daddy = (Father of 'Patricia'). Louis Mountbatten, Ist Earl Mountbatten of Burma (1900-1979)
Pammy and David = (Sister and brother-in-law of 'Patricia'). Lady Pamela Mountbatten and her husband, David Hicks. They were married on 13 January 1960.
