Description Yomut torba, Turkmenistan, mid-19th century. This is an unusual and rare design with repeated Memling guls that center bold 8-pointed stars. Secondary ornaments are spare outlines of diamond guls. Both sets of decorations alternate in color between dark and light indigo blue. Size: 3'2'' x 1'4'' (97 x 41 cm). Weight: 2 lbs.
