Description Tekke torba, 6-guls, Turkmenistan, first half 19th century. This is another standout 6-gul torba with handsome proportions and unusually large guls. Expertly woven with soft wool and visually composed, the weaver chose a delicate box-flower border made more refined by the low contrast of the dyes, except for the few hints of white.
