An antique Chinese Ming dynasty (1368-1644) seated Amituo/Amida/Amitabha gilt bronze Buddha of the Western Pure Land Paradise, seated in the lotus position, wearing loose ornate robes to expose his chest which bears a Buddhist sauvastika on his chest, three lines to his neck, serene face with down cast eyes, urna, snail shell hair with ushnisha, elongated earlobes, making the earth touching gesture or bhumisparsha mudra with his left hand and meditation gesture or dhyana mudra with his right, traces of gold lacquer gilding.
