A Chinese jade openwork archaic plaque, Ming dynasty or earlier, worked with a very interesting stylized 'caligraphic?' open arrangement of chilong dragons, later wood stand, carved only to one side and later mounted as a table screen.

Provenance: A Montreal Collector acquired in South Aftrica From an British expat family.Brought to South Africa circa 1950/1960 from London by repute
