A French Chinoiserie taste mantle clock, 19th century, The porcelain case glazed in light blue with gilt splashes, the dial reveals the skeleton brass pendulum driven movement, signed on movement backplate. 10 1/2" h., 26.6 cm.

Provenance: "Le Sabot" home of Senator Louis Forget (1853-1911), Montreal estate by descent.
