Qing dynasty. A large meiping porcelain vase in the Song dynasty qingbai style, with a narrow foot on a tall slender body rising to high rounded shoulders with a narrow neck and curled lipped rim. Expressively carved to depict a three-clawed dragon flying amongst clouds over a ring of lappets around the foot, all under a translucent cool-toned glaze. Approx. 11 1/4 by 5 in., 28.6 by 12.8 cm.
