A pair of Famille-Rose yellow ground Joss stick holders, Qing dynasty. Each of circular form surmounted with a caparisoned elephant, the dish enamel painted with blossoms, scrolls and bats on a light greenish yellow ground, gilt highlights. Daoguang mark and probably of the period. 5" dia., 12.6 cm.
