All packaging and shipping costs will be met by the client and shall be paid directly to ADER
The sale will be made expressly in cash.
No claim will be admissible as soon as the award is pronounced, the successive exhibitions allowing the buyers to note the state of the objects presented.
The successful bidder will be the highest bidder and last bidder and will be required to submit his name and address. In the event of a dispute at the time of the auctions, i.e. if it is established that two or more bidders have simultaneously made an equivalent bid, either aloud or by sign, and at the same time claim this object after the word "awarded", the said object will be immediately re-auctioned at the price proposed by the bidders and the entire public will be allowed to bid again.
The date in square brackets [...] corresponds to the creation of the model. The piece presented having been made later.
Any changes to the conditions of sale or the descriptions of the catalogue will be announced verbally during the sale and noted on the minutes.
Catalogue: €20 including 5.5% VAT under copyright. The images are the exclusive property of ADER.
Any reproduction or distribution requires the written permission of the Auction House.
Selling costs and payment:
The successful bidder must pay, in addition to the amount of the auction, per lot, the following fees and taxes:
- 28% TTC (20% VAT) except for wine and books 25% TTC (5.5% VAT on books).
1.8% TTC (20% VAT) of the auction price for auctions via Drouot Live; 3.60% TTC (20% VAT) of the auction price for auctions via Interenchères; 3% TTC (20% VAT) of the auction price for auctions via Invaluable.
- * 5,5 % additional costs in respect of the temporary import tax for consignments the number of which is preceded by an asterisk.
In some cases, these costs may be reimbursed to the buyer.
Payment must be made immediately after the sale:
- in cash (euros) up to € 1,000 for french nationals or up to € 15,000 for foreign nationals (on presentation of proof of address, tax notice, etc.; in addition to the passport).
- by credit card (Visa, Mastercard).
- by payment "3D Secure" on the site www.ader-paris.fr
- by bank transfer in euros to the order of ADER.

Purchase orders:
A bidder who cannot attend the sale will have to fill out the purchase order form included in this catalogue and sign it.
ADER will act on behalf of the bidder, according to the instructions contained in the purchase order form, in order to try to purchase the lot(s) at the lowest possible price and not exceeding, in any case, the maximum amount indicated by the bidder.
The said form must be sent and received at the study no later than 24 hours before the start of the sale.
Purchase orders or telephone auctions are a facility for customers. ADER is not responsible for failing to execute an order by mistake or for any other reason. Please check after sending that your purchase order has been duly registered.
ADER reserves the right not to register the purchase order if it is not complete or if it considers that the customer does not provide all the guarantees for the security of the transactions; without possible recourse.
To guarantee the goodwill of the buyer, a deposit may be requested before the sale which will only be validated in case of auction.
As Drouot Live and Interenchères are independent services, we decline all responsibility in the event of malfunction. The additional cost related to purchases on the internet is detailed on each of the sites and in our conditions of sale.
Transport of lots / Export:
As soon as the auction is pronounced, the purchases are under the full responsibility of the successful bidder.
No lot will be given to the purchasers before payment of all the sums due.
Small volume purchases will be transported to ADER, 3 rue Favart 75002 Paris, where they will be kept on deposit free of charge for 14 days.
The study is open from Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Bulky purchases will be stored, on their terms and expense, at the shopping of the Hotel Drouot, 6 bis rue Rossini 75009 Paris (Tel.: 01 48 00 20 18), where they can be collected on presentation of the paid slip.
The tender slip is due in full. VAT (included only in the buyer's fees) is subsequently refundable upon presentation of a valid customs proof and bank account references.
Buyers, wishing to export their purchases, must make this known no later than the day of the sale. They will be able to recover VAT on the purchase fees provided that a valid customs proof is given to ADER and that the name of the Auction House is mentioned as an exporter. The tender slip is due in full; VAT is refundable thereafter upon presentation of the bank account references.
The shipment of the purchased lots can be organized by ADER at the expense and under the responsibility of the buyer.
It is a service provided by ADER which reserves the right to renounce it if the legal or practical conditions present the slightest risk (gold and precious stones, weapons, wines & spirits). Deadlines are not guaranteed and depend on the activity of the Auction House.
The cost of packaging and shipping is the responsibility of the buyer; the settlement to the order of ADER.
Buyers are invited to organize the transport of their purchases themselves if these conditions do not suit them.
Failure to pay:
In the absence of payment by the successful bidder of all the sums due, within one month of the sale, and after a single formal notice remained unsuccessful, ADER will initiate a recovery procedure. The buyer will be registered in the centralized file of payment incidents of the SYMEV (www.symev.org) and all the expenses will remain at his expense. from one month after the sale and at the request of the seller, the sale may be cancelled without recourse.
Personal data:
As part of ourauction activities, ADER collects personal data concerning the seller and the buyer. The latter therefore have a right of access, rectification and opposition on their personal data by contacting our auction house directly. ADER may use this personal data in order to comply with its legal obligations, and, unless the data subjects object, for the purpose of carrying out its activity (in particular, commercial and marketing operations). This data may also be communicated to the competent authorities as soon as the regulations so require.
Payment must be made immediately after the sale:
- in cash (euros) up to € 3 000 for French nationals or up to € 15 000 for foreign nationals (upon presentation of evidence of address, notice of tax assessment, etc.; plus passport).
- by bank cheque (in euros) payable to ADER, with mandatory presentation of a valid identity document. Foreign cheques are not accepted.
- by bank card (Visa, Mastercard).
- by “3D secure” payment at the website www.ader-paris.fr
- by bank transfer in euros to ADER.
