A baluster-shaped porcelain vase decorated in Wucai polychrome enamels with a phoenix and a dragon searching for the sacred pearl among the clouds, framed at the base by wavelets and spikes and palmettes at the neck. Shunzhi period (1644-1661) (old restorations visible probably from a crack). It was adapted in Europe at the end of the 19th century from a gilt bronze base and neck mount to be adapted as a lamp, the base probably pierced. H: 31 cm
