Pair of covered lantern-shaped deng long zun porcelain vases in the famille rose style, China, 19th centuryThe ribbed body with alternating decoration of a five-clawed dragon chasing the flaming pearl and a fenghuang phoenix coiled around itself surrounded by the eight auspicious symbols of Buddhism (the parasol, the fish, the conch, the treasure vase, the lotus, the eternal knot, the banner and the wheel). The bottom of the body and the shoulder are decorated with a frieze of cranes in flight in stylized clouds, a motif repeated on the lid, and the neck with flowers and foliage. The rim of the foot and the lid are enamelled with a frieze of grecias. Apocryphal mark Yongzheng with six characters in blue underglaze in a double circle. Height : 41 cm
