A William IV silver-mounted bear paw clam shell desk set , mark of T.D, London, 1834, on pedestal foot, the top incorporating a taperstick with ring handle and detachable conical snuffer, pen-holder and mounted glass oval inkwell with fluted sides, 16 cm. high, 13 cm. long. There is a slight mis-allignment of the foot to the top otherwise in good order without damage to shell. Marked on snuffer, on cylindrical section of taperstick, inside cover and on rim mount of inkwell, on supporting section below inkwell and inside base, no damage to glass
