Well-molded, standing four square with head turned slightly to the right. the head well-articulated with ears pricked, eyes bulging and nostrils flared, a bright green-glazed saddlecloth draped over the high ridged saddle and gathered in pleats to either side. The body covered with a rich mottled amber glaze with a cream-glazed blaze over the horse mane. Possibly Tang Dynasty. Height: 20 inches. (From the base to horse head)
