The foliate-form plaque is carved in openwork with a striding dragon amongst coiled foliage. It is inset into a gilt wire filigree box decorated with the attributes of the Eight Immortals inlaid with kingfisher feather on a dense ring-patterned ground.
Condition: the jade appears to be in overall good condition; the box with losses to the feather inlay; dents to the metalwork.
