The dish is decorated and gilt with a branched prunus and bamboo shoots, accompanied with a poetic inscription and signed Hui An, with an iron-red seal reading 'zhu ju' and an artemisia leaf in iron red. The reverse is decorated with three flower sprays in iron red.

Catalogue notes: the poem may be translated as: 'bamboo and prunus blossoming from the Eastern wall, bamboo and prunus stand so elegant.'
Condition: a few small frits to the rim; a few minor chips to the foot, very light wear to the enamels.
