The body of the censer is of bombé form with two slightly everted loop handles to the rim. It stands on three rounded triangular feet. The base is inscribed in black ink 'Qianlong wu(?) nian zhi', which may be translated as 'established in wu(?) year of Qianlong'.
Condition: cracks to the base and crackling to the glaze and around the feet; surface wear to the rim and handles.
