QING DYNASTYThe flattened pear-shaped body carved in shallow relief to each side with a scholar beneath a tree with an attendant, one holding a duck, with animal mask loose-ring handles divided by a band of stylised rocks to the neck, the finial formed as a sinuous dragon, together with an archaistic two-handled celadon jade cup, carved in relief with studs and stylised dragons' heads, each raised on a hardwood stand, 18.9cm max.
