, Kangxi period, ca. 1700, China, A pair of jars with on one side a lady riding a dragon, flanked by two banner waving servants. The other side shows five playing boys. The flat lids also have a boys pattern. Marked with a double circle in underglaze blue. H 20 cm, Good condition. No chips, no cracks or hairlines and no restoration. A few tiny frits and irregularities in the glaze. The decoration on both vases is somewhat blurred.
