, 18th century, probably Yongzheng period, China, A rare blue and white dish, decorated with characters 日ri (sun) and 月yue( moon) between a horse and dragon. A Dutch silver handle was added in the 19th century. The unglazed base is unmarked. D 27 cm, Good condition. No chips or hairlines and no restoration. The rim with four drilled holes to accomodate the Dutch silver handle. Heavy wear of the glaze from age and use.
