Of baluster form, the tall sides rising from a flat circular base to a wide shoulder set with a short neck, finely decorated in bright famille verte enamels, the body painted with four shaped panels, each containing a beribboned basket overflowing with flowers including iris, lotus and chrysanthemum, all reserved against a honeycomb pattern ground and above a band of moulded panels around the foot each containing a chilong alternating with sprays of flowers, the shoulder with a continuous scroll of flowering branches the neck with chrysanthemum blooms and scrolling leafy tendrils, the base unglazed, together with a carved hardwood cover. Period: Kangxi (1662-1722). Height: 48 cm.
