Of square section, the tall straight sides supported on a straight circular foot, the short circular neck sloping slightly inward, set with a pair of elephant head handles, painted in delicate famille rose enamels, one side with a depiction of the poet Li Bai, represented drunk and reclining upon a wine-jar of gourd shape, one side with two cranes, a pair of fenghuang perching on rockwork and the signature of Liang Kengtang, a pair of yellow songbirds in a tree, a further pair of birds with white plumage, and a pair of ducks in a lake, the third side with a watery landscape with men in a boat in the foreground and towering mountains behind with calligraphy and a seal reading, “picture of Fuchun Mountain. Early summer in the year of bingshuai” (1886, 12th year of the Guangxu reign), the fourth with a water buffalo in a lake, the glazed base with the six-character mark of Guangxu, together with hardwood stand. Period: Guangxu (1874?1908). Height: 30 cm.
