Of circular form, decorated in shades of underglaze blue, the central design is of an official and a lady in a garden landscape, the border painted with prunus sprays, the reverse painted with stylised rockwork, the glazed base with a double circle enclosing the six-character mark of Kangxi and of the period, together with a blue and white jar of oval form, decorated with three ladies in a terraced garden among rockwork and plantain, one holding an open fan, the glazed base with an artemisia leaf, with wood cover. Period: Kangxi (1662?1722). Height: 11.5 cm, diameter: 21 cm.
