Of large rectangular form, finely and brightly enamelled to the central panel with a pair of long-tailed crested birds perched on rockwork issuing chrysanthemum, roses, magnolia and peony, overhead two small birds, one perched on a branch, the other swooping, all reserved on a plain white ground within a puce foliate band, the rim with four quatrefoil panels enclosing fruiting and flowering sprays and four roundels of stylised dragons all reserved on a honeycomb background, the exterior with a flower spray reserved on a white ground, within a green cracked-ice band at the rim. Period: Qianlong (1736?1795). Length: 66.5 cm, width: 44 cm.
