A silver desk blotter by J. C. Vickery, London, 1919, rectangular with sloping sides, fixed grip between two pen rests and a central rectangular aperture, possibly for a pen wipe, the sides calibrated as an 8 inch and 20 centimetre ruler respectively, the wooden base with shagreen veneers, 21.7 cm. long.
Some staining and wear to top and base of stand but otherwise in very good condition.
