A silver reproduction of a Commonwealth livery company wine goblet, the 1655 Christopher Pym Cup, made for the Worshipful Company of Blacksmiths and reproduced to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of HM the Queen, mark of JM over MG for Meiling Gartrell, London, 1977, engraved with the arms of the Blacksmiths Company, the stem modelled as a blacksmith at an anvil inscribed "By hammer and hand All arts doe stand" and inscribed around rim "The gift of Christopher Pym upon his Admission to the place of Clerke of this Company", 17.7 cm. high, wt. 324 gm. In excellent condition and accompanied by a publicity pamphlet to the Liverymen
