Korean Painting On Rice Paper:
Chinese painting of flowering peonies on rice paper, mounted on light weight wood with an embroidered mat panel. Painting is done in watercolor and grisaille. The petals are painted in a very soft style, contrasting with the intensity of the branches. The only color is the red artist's seals. Calligraphy on left side.
